‘Vibration is back’
이머전과의 소송 문제로 어쩔 수 없이 제거되었던 플레이스테이션 3의 진동 기능이 돌아옵니다. 오늘 소니가 플레이스테이션 펌웨어 1.70을 공개하면서 진동 옵션을 추가했다고 밝혔습니다. 진동 옵션을 쓸 수 있는 모든 PS 1와 PS 2 게임에 한해서만 작동한다는 군요. 문제는 지금의 PS 3 컨트롤러에서 되지 않을 텐데, 새로운 컨트롤러가 나올까요? 아니면 USB 진동 컨트롤러와 호환이 되는 걸까요?
이번 펌웨어로 플레이스테이션 스토어에서 다운로드 한 PSOne 타이틀도 PS 3에서 실행할 수 있게 됐습니다.
For all of the PlayStation 3 owners out on the web, Sony has just released the newest firmware update for their console, version 1.70. While the update has not been officially released on Sony’s official website, when your download completes on the PlayStation 3 it reads the following updates have be installed:
Updates:
– PSOne downloaded games are now playable on the PS3
– Saves from the PS3 can now be used on the PSP (I.E PSOne saves)
– Vibration support has been added to emulated PS1 and PS2 titles.
( All older titles now support vibration when you put the disc in your PlayStation 3)UPDATE: It appears that you will still need a PSP to download PSOne titles at the moment. Hopefully Sony will fix this hiccup soon. ( You must have your PSP connected through USB mode to download titles still)
From the looks of it, this update is huge. Stay tuned to PSU as we try to get some more information on this exciting bit of late breaking news.
무선이다 뭐다 해도 역시 컨트톨러에 진동이 빠지면 앙꼬없는 찐빵인 것 같습니다.^^
그런 면에서 보면 아날로그 컨트롤러도 그렇고, 진동도 그렇고, 닌텐도의 새로운 시도는 항상 놀랍습니다. (물론 이득은 소니가 챙기지만요.)
ㅎㅎ.. 그러게 말입니다. 진동과 모션 센서 모두 갖게 됐으니 어떤 재미를 주게 될지 기대해봐야겠네요.. 덕분에 우리나라애서 출시가 늦은 게 다행인지도 모르겠습니다만..
(그런데 PS 3 무선 랜.. 없으면 꽤나 불편합니다. ㅜ.ㅜ)
진동 컨트롤러를 경험해보지 못해서 항상 이 문제에 대해선 아무 생각이 없었는데요,,;;
한참 욕 먹다가 지금에 와서라도 지원하는 걸 보니 정말 굉장한 기능인가보네요,,@@;;
굉장하다기보다는 게임의 맛을 살리는 감초 같은 역할이라고 할까요?
